15 Years Helping People Choose Coverage Confidently
We're an independent agency — not tied to any one carrier — so our advisors recommend what actually fits your life, your family, and your business.
We started Evergreen Health Advocates because health insurance should never be this hard.
In 2010, our founder watched his sister — a self-employed graphic designer in her early 30s — spend three weeks trying to understand her health insurance options after losing her job. Three weeks. Dozens of confusing websites, conflicting information, and zero guidance from people who actually understood the system.
She eventually gave up and went uninsured for eight months. Four months later, she was in the emergency room with appendicitis. The bill was $34,000.
That's the story that built Evergreen Health Advocates. We created this agency because navigating health insurance is genuinely difficult — and it shouldn't require a law degree to understand your options.

What makes us different
To make quality health coverage accessible, understandable, and affordable for every American — individual, family, or business — through honest, expert guidance and a service that costs you nothing.
Our values
Licenses & credentials
Evergreen Health Advocates is licensed to sell health, dental, vision, life, and supplemental insurance in all 50 states. Our agents are appointed with all major carriers including:
Three commitments we make before you ever sign anything.
Insurance advice should sound like advice — not a sales pitch with a deadline. Here's what working with an Evergreen advocate actually looks like, start to finish.
Independent, Always
We're not on commission with any single carrier. Premera, Regence, Kaiser WA, Molina, Coordinated Care, Community Health Plan of Washington — all weighed equally for the plan that genuinely fits your ZIP, your providers, and your year ahead.
Built for Washington
We work the WA Healthplanfinder marketplace daily. We know which carriers actually have networks in Spokane, which plans cover Seattle Children's, and how Apple Health eligibility shifts at the county line. That's not generic — that's specific.
Year-Round Advocacy
After enrollment, your advocate stays. Claim disputes, network changes mid-year, life events that trigger a special enrollment window — you call us, not a call center. No re-introductions, no being passed around.

“I got laid off from Amazon in February and panicked about COBRA. My Evergreen advocate had me on a Premera Silver plan through WA Healthplanfinder in under a week — same primary care doctor, same prescriptions, and roughly a third of what COBRA wanted. They even caught a subsidy I didn't think I'd qualify for.”

“We farm 800 acres of wheat outside Colfax and the WA Healthplanfinder website is a nightmare from a tractor cab. Evergreen sat down with us at the kitchen table, walked through Apple Health for the kids and a Regence plan for me and my husband, and made sure our Spokane doctor was actually in network. That mattered.”

“Out here on the peninsula, half the plans on the marketplace don't actually have providers within an hour of Sequim. My advocate told me that honestly — not what most agents do — and got me into a plan that works at Olympic Medical and includes the telehealth I rely on for specialists in Seattle. First insurance experience that felt real.”
